Launching from 0 to 1 a new product for a fintech

Working for a global fintech (€100M series A) to set up a major new product. A leading European fintech in revenue-led financing required help to launch a new product to address smaller marketplaces and websites. The market potential was €25B by 2030. We designed the product in terms of UX, financial conditions, credit granting algorithms, marketing and tech roadmap to automate the customer journey. We then identified 20 clients to launch the product. This new segment is now live and the second largest contributor to the bottom line.

Etsy of Fashion

The client was an American company that had it sights of expanding in continental Europe. To do so, a critical aspect of the Growth engine was to acquire local midmarket fashion companies to bring them to the platform. To do so we designed the local EMEA sales team in Amsterdam, rewrote the US playbook for Europe, identified a priority list of companies to onboard and trained the sales team for 3 months to improve the funnel.

Developing an MVP for a future-of-work company

Developing in one month a complete MVP for a future-of-work company a pre-seed stage. The client had raised pre-seed at a €9m valuation and was looking to test a new product around risk management of a remote workforce. We assembled a team of developers and designers to develop a completely functional MVP in one month – which was then sold to 5 B2C clients. This gave the validation the company needed to proceed to its Seed stage.

Headhunting a chief-of-staff for a global Quantum Computing company

Identifying profiles at the intersection of science, tech and strategy to serve as CoS. We worked with a leading QC company that needed a Chief-of-Staff to support its C-suite. The need was highly specific as it required a working knowledge of the science behind QC (computational or physics background) as well as capabilities in general management, problem-solving and soft skills. We initiated a search and selected 3 highly-qualified profiles one of which was finally selected by the client – and has now evolved in an operational capacity.

Reshaping the strategy and BP of a Virtual Reality company for Series A

Helping a company pivot towards a web3 gaming enabler proposition to achieve sustainable growth. The client is a Virtual Reality company specialized in artistic rendition of famous landscapes on Unity. They client has developed a viable product and had some contracts with music labels and museums. However, despite the technical success, the company did not have a clear path to growth for its Series A. We worked with the CEO and CFO to pivot the strategy towards a new focus in the web3 gaming industry, providing a “universe as a service” environment that can be used by gaming studios as a base. This prove successful and, after a few validation contracts, this led to the series A being completed.

Evaluating acquisition opportunities for a mental health platform

Working with a mental health company to identify and integrate targets globally. The mental health market is consolidating. Our client, a leading platform in the field, had the wherewithal to take advantage of that trend to operate a build up, particularly outside of the United States. We identified in each key market – Brazil, Europe, Middle-East – what was the nature of the landscape and proceeded to assessing the potential targets. The client decided to acquire two targets. We worked with the teams to conduct the PMI ensuring a smooth customer and tech migration.
